Delinquency + SamplesService Suspension
Accounts reaching ninety (90) days of delinquency will face immediate suspension of:
- Access to the patient application
- Fulfillment of all product orders, including but not limited to Secretome YOU™
Identity Authentication
Following the 90-day delinquency threshold, a “contract termination” notice will be issued via email provided to Acorn. Attempts to contact you will continue until 90 days post failed payment. To reinstate the account, the user must:
- Authorize full recovery: payment of the total outstanding balance in a single transaction
- Reactivation fee: payment of a non-refundable $250 administrative fee
- Disposition notice: if an account remains in arrears for 12 months (the “escrow period”), samples will be deemed abandoned and subject to destruction at the company’s sole discretion.
Cancellations + External Transfers
Identity Authentication
To protect sensitive biological assets, all cancellations or transfer requests require a government-issued ID matching the records on file
Retrieval + Prep Fee
All requests to transfer biological samples to an external facility are subject to a non-refundable retrieval + prep fee. Once the sample is handed to a third-party courier or the external facility, Acorn should no longer be liable for temperature excursions or damage.
Family Plan Governance
Eligibility + Residency
Family plans are restricted to six members (2 adults and 4 children) residing at a common primary residence. Acorn reserves the right to request proof of residency.
Aging out of Family Plans 31+
Upon a member reaching thirty-one (31) years of age, the company reserves the right to transition said member to an individual billing structure. This ensures the primary account holder is not perpetually liable for adult children
Upon reaching age 31, if the member does not establish an independent account within 90 days, the Primary Account Holder remains financially responsible at the then-current Individual Rate to prevent sample abandonment
Continuity of Service (Grace Period)
Family plans are restricted to six members (2 adults and 4 children) residing at a common primary residence. Acorn reserves the right to request proof of residency.
